We all get a little overly pumped after a fun shoot right? Well, if you don't then you either completely exhausted yourself or you just didn't capture anything you're that proud of.
One mistake I keep making is editing right after a shoot. Normally the shoot has taken several hours if not the entire day and I want to crack open the images and see what I got in detail. This tends to lead down a rabbit hole of excitement, then I edit one, no... two, NO 10... and it goes from there. At this point in the day my eyes are tired and I WILL make post production mistakes. So, lesson learned, again, and I would highly recommend you take a step back as well after a long day of shooting. Wait until the next day or so when you're reenergized and ready to make your best edit.
Here are a few images shooting for Unclaimed Baggage Center using Sierra Laney. Sierra is a Stetts model our of New York and was an absolute blast to work with. Go follow along on her journey.
